Wind turbine model: choose a model from the list between: Generic 500 W, Generic 1 kW, 2.5 kW and 1kW Up-Wind.

Number of turbines: choose the number of wind turbines wished to build.

Output

Maintenance Cost: the maintenance cost of the whole project. These costs are estimated and further Information is provided in the wind turbine section of renewable technologies of our website.

Capital Cost: the cost of the whole project. These costs are estimated and further information is provided in the wind turbine section of renewable technologies of our website.

Cost per unit (p/kWh): the cost of electricity for the specific year needed to estimate.

Total Energy Output (per month and per year): calculates the energy generated by the wind turbines taking in account the monthly average wind speeds, wind turbine chosen model and the number installed.

Total annual savings (£): will give the savings generated taking in account the unit cost of electricity (p/kWh) and the Total Energy Output.

Incentive Grant and Revised Capital Cost (£): shows the grant given to hotels installing these types of wind turbines models. Due to that the decrease will appear in the Revised Capital Cost.

Weight of the Total Energy Output generated in relation with the annual electrical demand (%)

Payback period (years): shows the years needed to amortise the invested amounts.
